Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Plinkfox games ("we", "our games") use, why, and the choices you have. It applies to all games published by Plinkfox on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and to this website.
In short: you don't need an account to play, and we never ask for your name. Your progress is stored on your device. Our games use Google services for ads, analytics and crash reports, and Google Play or Apple to handle purchases. Those services receive device identifiers and usage information as described below.
1. Who we are
Plinkfox is an independent game studio based in Pakistan. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. Contact: support@plinkfox.com.
2. Information stored on your device
Your game progress, coins, items, settings and similar data are saved in a file on your device. We don't receive this file. Uninstalling a game or clearing its data deletes it.
Reminder notifications (if you turn them on) are scheduled on your device. We don't run a server that sends you messages.
3. Information collected by services in our games
| Service | What it uses | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (ads) | Advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, ad views and clicks | To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. Ads are personalised only if you allow it (see section 5). |
| Firebase Analytics (Google) | App instance ID, device model, OS version, country, in-game events (e.g. screens opened, levels started and finished, purchases) | To understand how the games are played and improve them |
| Firebase Crashlytics (Google) | Crash reports: technical details of the error, device state, an installation identifier | To find and fix bugs |
| Firebase Remote Config (Google) | An installation identifier | To update game settings (such as difficulty or prices in coins) without an app update |
| Google Play / Apple App Store | Your purchases, handled by the store | To process purchases and subscriptions. We never receive your card or payment details. |
| RevenueCat | Purchase receipts and an anonymous app user ID | To confirm purchases and restore them on a new device |
Where a game offers leaderboards, they use Google Play Games or Apple Game Center under your account with those services. When you share a score, your device's share sheet is used; we don't receive what you share.
Each provider's own policy applies to the data it processes: How Google uses information from apps that use its services, Firebase privacy, RevenueCat privacy, Apple privacy.
4. Information you send us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and help you. We keep support emails as long as needed to resolve your request.
5. Your choices
- Personalised ads (EEA, UK, Switzerland and other regions where required): the game asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time in the game: Settings → Privacy options.
- iPhone: the game asks for permission to track via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads, depending on your device).
- Notifications: turn reminders on or off in the game's Settings or your device settings.
- Without consent, ads are still shown but are not personalised.
6. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)
- Consent: personalised advertising, where the law requires consent.
- Legitimate interests: analytics, crash reporting, non-personalised ads, fraud prevention and keeping the games working.
- Contract: delivering the items and subscriptions you buy.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. To make a request, email support@plinkfox.com with the game's name and your device model. We don't know who you are from our data, so we may need details from you to find the information linked to your device. We reply within 30 days.
California and other US states: we don't sell personal information for money. Sharing device identifiers with ad partners to show ads may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state laws. You can opt out by deleting or resetting your advertising ID, or by declining personalised ads where the game offers that choice.
8. Children
Our games are made for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Retention
Game data on your device stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months, and crash reports for about 90 days, under our settings with Google. Ad partners keep data according to their own policies.
10. International transfers and security
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. They use recognised safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses. Data is encrypted in transit.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and tell you in the game if a change is significant.
